SCP in 360°

SCP in 360° is a series of 360° videos showcases some of the many sustainability projects of the United Nation’s One Planet Network.

The One Planet Network was formed to implement the 10 Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production. With six thematic programmes involved in high-impact projects around the world, this network’s efforts are leading the global shift to sustainable consumption and production while working towards the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 12, as well as supporting a host of the Sustainable Development Goals.

We travelled to Costa Rica, Armenia, Nepal, Chile, South Africa, and the Netherlands to film projects on Sustainable Food Systems, Sustainable Lifestyles & Education, Sustainable Buildings & Construction, Consumer Information, Sustainable Tourism, and Sustainable Public Procurement. Working with the programmes’ focal points and community members, the UN team and I explored how 360° video technology could best highlight the work of the One Planet Network and communicate the importance of sustainability.

SCP in 360° is presented at the UN Headquarters in NYC as part of the Camp One Planet exhibit at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development July 9-18, 2018. The Camp One Planet exhibit brings visitors a larger sampling of sustainable projects in the One Planet Forest, a virtual campfire with the 360° film series, and a photo booth where visitors can make their own commitment to consume and produce sustainably. Come camp with us and visit the online exhibit at www.camponeplanet.org!
