Seat

About

Seat is a short film co-directed and co-produced with Kenneth Karthik that explores the many roles of chairs and seating surfaces in our daily lives—offering comfort, enabling work, holding objects, facilitating movement, and more. Shot across Vancouver, the film captures both fleeting moments and lasting relationships between humans, non-humans, and the seats that support them.

Seat was shown at the Museum of Vancouver as part of the exhibition, Deep-Seated Histories: Chairs from the Collection, from June 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026.
